Death Valley SUV Trails

This is a four-wheelers guide to 40 interesting and scenic outings in the greater Death Valley Region. These rough road adventures will take the backroad explorer into relatively little visited places far off the well-beaten tourist routes. These are not roads you will want to take in your low-slung family sedan or sports car. While not all of the routes described require the use of four-wheel drive, they di require high clearance vehicles. Each outing described includes a description of the flora, fauna, geology, and degree of difficulty rating are provided for each road described.
